Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) aligns perfectly with the surfer lifestyle because both emphasize fluidity, adaptability, and body control. In BJJ, you use your body as it was naturally designed, engaging in complex, multidimensional movements that are never the same, much like the unpredictability of the ocean waves in surfing. What I love most about BJJ is the friendly, tight-knit community that mirrors the camaraderie of surfing culture. Every session feels different, challenging me in new ways, just like each wave or roll on the mat. It's an incredible complement to surfing and overall fitness.

Surfing competitions provide a unique opportunity for me to push my limits and embrace the mental challenge. The mix of anxious excitement and the drive to give my absolute best is an experience that fuels my personal growth. Competing forces me to block out distractions, stay focused on my own performance, and face the intensity of the environment head-on. It's more than just a physical test—it's a form of mental sharpening. Much like in regular workouts, you have to step out of your comfort zone if you want to improve, and these competitions give me the perfect space to do just that.

Windsurfing is something deeply rooted in my life, and it all started with my mother teaching me the basics. She passed on her knowledge, which ignited my passion for the sport. Over time, windsurfing evolved from just a hobby to a lifestyle that defines me. I've had the privilege of traveling the world with older surf buddies, experiencing the vastness of the sea and ocean, and witnessing the beauty of nature firsthand. This sport is where my love for extreme sports comes from, as it continues to push me beyond my limits while connecting me with the natural world.
